DeafPeople.com names African-American as the Deaf Person of the Month
DeafPeople.com celebrates the achievements of contemporary deaf people. Antoine Hunter is the 3rd African-American to receive such an honor. 2009 NBDA Conference Bound for Phoenix, Arizona!
NBDA Board is pleased to announce the 2009 Conference site will be held at Phoenix, Arizona. Conference co-chairs Patrice Joyner and Melvin Creamer and the planning committee will disclose conference registration and information beginning this fall.
For more than two decades, NBDA has been at the forefront of the
struggle for access, and equity for Black deaf and hard of hearing
people. NBDA's objective is to provide advocacy intended to remedy
past injustices and to stake a share of the American dream for its
